Andrew Thomas BDS (Wales 2004)
Principal Dentist

Andrew joined the practice in 2004 after qualifying from The University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff. He has an interest in all aspects of general dental practice and actively participates in postgraduate courses. Andrew is a member of the British Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, Andrew enjoys playing many sports including tennis, football and golf.

Adam Kolaczkowski BDS (Bristol), PG Dip (Dental Implantology).
Principal Dentist

Adam has a Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology and offers dental implant based treatments to patients. He is currently studying towards a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics) at King’s College London.
Adam has a keen interest in DIY and has completed the Lands End to John O’Groats Cycle. In his spare time he enjoys windsurfing, sailing and spending time with his young children.

Karen Davies BDS (Bristol), PG Dip (Dental Implantology).
Associate Dentist

Karen grew up in Southampton and qualified from Bristol in 1997. Karen enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She is particularly interested in treating anxious patients and building their confidence. Her aim is to provide high quality dentistry in a caring environment. Outside of work Karen enjoys walking with her dog, baking, singing in a local choir and spending time with her two children.

Beth Trueman
Dental Therapist and Hygienist

Beth is a dually qualified Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. She is able to provide a range of dental care which includes scaling and polishing, oral hygiene instruction, applying materials to teeth such as fluoride, fissure sealants and fillings, taking dental x-rays and taking impressions of teeth. In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Emma Lodge
Dental Therapist and Hygienist

Emma graduated from the University of Portsmouth after studying for her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Emma is passionate about encouraging a friendly and calming environment for all patients. In her spare time, Emma enjoys walks in the New Forest and watching various musicals at the theatre.

Laura Bunyan
Dental Hygienist

Laura joined Marchwood Dental Practice in September 2022. She qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Cardiff University in 2010 after working as a Dental Nurse since 2005. Laura enjoys taking part in local amateur dramatics and singing in a 9 piece band. She can also be found at the gym on occasions, working off the food she enjoys cooking.

Catherine Tona
Receptionist

Catherine joined the practice in 1989 as a dental nurse and has since gone on to gain her BTEC Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Dental Reception and BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma in Dental Practice Management. She works predominantly on reception but gained her Verified Competency in Dental Nursing, via her 20 years of dental nursing experience. Catherine is married with three children, which keep her very busy!

Helen Hall

Helen has been a qualified dental nurse since 1998 and joined the practice in July 2000. Helen has a NEBDN National Certificate in Dental Nursing. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but particularly oral surgery. Helen is married with two children and enjoys dog walking and gardening.

Laura Hughes

Louise joined Marchwood Dental Practice in October 2010. She is married with three children and enjoys relaxing and reading in her spare time.

Athena qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2019. She has a little girl and enjoys days out with her family.

Charlotte joined the practice in 2017 and gained her NEBDN in 2000. Charlotte is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and spending time with her family.

Samantha Roystone
Dental nurse

Sam gained her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2008 and joined the practice in September 2019.
She loves spending time with her daughter, son and grandson and enjoys forest walks with her two dogs.

Danielle Brown
Danielle joined the practice in 2021. She is currently training to become a Dental Nurse and is on target to qualify in 2023. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
